Write a Song With Me - How the Co-Writing Project Works

As part of the Melancolia project, I want to open the creative process to the people who follow the music. For one song — and possibly more if the concept works well — I’m inviting you to become part of the writing process.
Here’s how it works.
If you’d like to participate, you can send me a message or go directly to the website and fill out the submission form. In that form, you can share an idea, a theme, a few lines of lyrics, a verse, a chorus, a topline, or even just a few words that could inspire a song. There are no strict rules about the format. What matters most is the emotion, the idea, or the story you want to bring into the music.
Once the submission period ends, I will personally read through all the entries and choose the one that resonates the most with the direction of the song and the spirit of the project.
The selected contributor will then officially become a co-writer of the song.
At that point, a formal co-writing agreement will be established. Regardless of the exact amount of text contributed, the selected co-writer will receive 50% of the songwriting rights for the lyrics.
This means the co-writer will receive their share of royalties generated by the song, including streams, downloads, and other forms of distribution. The co-writer will also be officially credited on streaming platforms such as Spotify and other digital services. If the song is ever released in a physical format, the co-writer will also receive the corresponding songwriter royalties.
Everything will be handled properly and transparently, just like any professional songwriting collaboration.
The goal of this project is simple: to create a real connection between the music and the people who listen to it, and to make Melancolia a living project that grows together with its community.
If you feel inspired, submit your ideas.
You might end up writing a song with me.
